In the 1800's there was a saw mill on the property that was powered by the water in the cranberry bog, aka "Cranberry Pond”. Original to the property and straight out of a fairytale is the gorgeous "Stone House” which features floors that were made onsite from this mill. Running through the development is the Clinton Deep River which feeds into the Long Island sound is a hot spot for trout fishing in the spring. Adjacent to the subdivision is the 25,000 acre Cockaponset State Forest with miles of hiking and horse trails to enjoy. A newly paved road, owned by the town allows the residents to enjoy the conveniences of road maintained by the town. The original property was over 80 acres and from that BMC Land Development LLC divided the property into lots that start at just under 2 acres up to 5 acres and with one large parcel sized at 29 acres which includes the Cranberry Pond.
